Men’s ministries going to the Barnstormers: Sat., Aug. 29, 7 PM. Tickets are available for men to attend the game as a men’s ministry event. We encourage men 16 and older from the congregation to take a friend! Interested in tickets? Contact Christy at the church office.

We need teachers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade Sunday school classes. The Fall quarter begins Sept. 6th.  Please contact Marian Gingrich, Brenda Horst, or Rick Rutt if you can help.

Fall Bible Studies Starting September 9

  • Women’s Bible Study:  We’re excited to announce that the women’s Bible study will be starting on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 7—8:30 PM. Our 10-week study is titled, “Believing God” by Beth Moore. Please contact Julia Fisher  if you have any questions. There is a sign-up sheet in the lobby.
  • Men’s Bible Study:  All men 16 years and older are invited to participate in our “Quest for Authentic Manhood.”  This study will challenge our culturally held views of men and assist men toward greater faithfulness.  Men will meet for six sessions, the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.  Please see Steve Horst, Randall Shull, Jonathan Bowman, Chris Wenden, or Fred Miller if you have questions.
  • Childcare will be provided.  An offering will be taken to assist with cost.

Connections Substitutes: Connections is in need of substitutes for this coming year. Substitutes would be placed on a list for our regular childcare workers to call if they can’t come that Wednesday. You would be paid for subbing and the hours would be Wednesday mornings from 9:15-11:15. Please consider this small way you could greatly help out our Connections program. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Renee Suydam or Dawn Sauder. Thanks!

Items needed at the food bank for August: Peanut butter and jelly, cereal, canned spaghetti or ravioli.
