Everyone is invited for hot drinks in the fellowship hall and to stay for the Sunday school hour. Classes are available for all ages as well as infant and nursery care.
Congregational Announcements
Sr. High Youth are selling candy as a fundraiser. The youth and others will be making candy on Dec. 11. During the next two Sundays (Nov. 29 and Dec 6) and the Dec. Wed. Night Out, the youth will be taking orders for chocolate-covered raisins and peanuts. Order forms are also available now in the information alcove, if you would like to take them home for family and co-workers.
This year’s community Thanksgiving service of the Hempfield Ministerium will be hosted by Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Landisville. The service will take place on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:00 pm. A community choir will sing an anthem, A THANKFUL HEART, and will rehearse once together at 6:00 pm on the eve of the service. If you are interested in joining the community choir that will sing one song in the program, please note the following details:
-pick up music from Christy or Gina in the church office
-rehearsal will be just prior to the service, 6:10- 6:30 at Zion Evangelical Church
-choir will not wear robes; street clothes are fine
The Women’s Bible Study group will not meet on Wednesday. We’ll meet again for the completion of our “Believing God” study on December 9.
An Intro. into Landisville Mennonite: Are you newer to the congregation? Considering becoming a member or just interested in learning more about the church? Then join us for five Sunday School sessions (Dec. 6, 13, 20; Jan. 10, 17) as we explore together core beliefs in our theological tradition, formative stories in our congregations history, and interact with members of the Ministry Leadership Team.
