One simple thing I’ve been doing this Christmas season is when making a purchase and the cashier asks, “Would you like to give $1.00 to _______ organization or cause?” I am now joyfully saying yes.
I am being conscious of my water usage and am trying not to waste it.
I have always tried to focus on Christmas as Jesus Birthday rather than it being about gifts for everyone else. It is good to be reminded though about my spending & to keep it in check. I like to pick a few favorite organizations to give a little to in honor of those people that don’t need more things, but like me to give to others. I usually ask what organization they would like me to donate to.
