Getting Beyond the Hurt

As followers of Christ, we are only able to extend mercy and grace to others when we know that God’s mercy and grace have been extended to us. Do we fully understand this? Do we cut ourselves off from the free flow of God’s grace when we don’t forgive? Do we realize that we have the power to forgive? Whatever else Jesus may have envisioned for the church, the one thing he was clear about was that we will never be finished with the need to forgive one another.
