Continuing the theme of vulnerability in Paul’s 2nd letter to the believers in Corinth, today we observe again Paul’s lack of defensiveness in 2 Corinthians 6:1-13 (even when he is providing a defense!) and his contrast with the “super-apostles” from a few chapters later. In what ways are each of us tempted to be super-someones? Invulnerable, unassailable… Paul, strangely, “brags” about his suffering, pain, and failures. What can we learn?
