Subversive Shalom

In Jeremiah 29, God calls the people in exile to engage fully in the work of shalom, committing themselves to extending wholeness and peace through mundane, attainable, risky, uncomfortable, transformative action. This invitation remains for us today. We are promised that, when we pursue God’s shalom on behalf of others, we will also experience it ourselves.
